One and Done Fundraiser
Calling all Oakland Parents! Help us achieve our fundraising goal of $20,000 without having to sell ANYTHING! That’s right. NO candles, NO wrapping paper, NO cookie dough – NOTHING! This year we’re trying a new approach to fundraising and making it easy-peasy for you...a one-time tax-deductible donation in the place of product/catalogue sales. Instead of spending too much on items you may not really want or need and only a percentage of that going back to the Boosters, you can make a monetary donation and 100% goes directly to supporting our students, staff, and school!
Wait...back up! Did we say $20,000!! Why so much?!? Well, our expenses this year have been budgeted at $27,000. That includes completion of the awning project (which is nearly 1⁄2 the budget), staff appreciation, a grant to the PBIS program, a grant fund for teachers, student events, and administrative expenses. The remaining $7,000 will come from various events throughout the year and our reserves.
